As online marketer for the Dutch retail market you, create digital campaigns and support our aim to ensure that our customers have everything they need to put their money to work the way they want. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of our bank in the Netherlands.

Who are we?

We are a new forward-thinking online bank operating in the Netherlands. We empower customers to navigate the world of banking, saving, and investing with confidence. We lower the threshold for wealth accumulation as we believe that everyone should be able to choose what happens to his or her money. Whether that’s saving, investing or asset management. We have a unique Wealth SuperApp, which offers one of the broadest range of online savings and investment solutions for individual clients. For the investment products we collaborate with the best partners in the world, such as BlackRock,  Robeco and JP Morgan Asset Management.

As WealthTech, our ambition is to make investing accessible for everybody and to shake up the digital retail WealthTech market. We do this with our unique Wealth SuperApp, which offers one of the broadest range of online investment solutions for individual clients.

What is it like to work for MeDirect Netherlands?

You will work in a small team with highly motivated and driven colleagues. We are flexible, move fast, and each of us has a wide variation of roles and tasks. We expect nothing less from you! Our office in Utrecht is very close to Utrecht central station. We have flexible working hours and offer the possibility to work from home.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Digital Strategy: Together with our colleagues and agencies in Belgium and Malta, develop & execute marketing strategies aligned with our goals.
  2. Content Creation: Collaborate with content writers for engaging digital content.
  3. SEO Optimization: Enhance online visibility with SEO best practices.
  4. Paid Advertising: Manage online ad campaigns, incl. Google Ads and social media.
  5. CRO: Analyse website performance for improved user experience.
  6. Analytics: Monitor metrics, providing actionable insights.
  7. Social Media Management: Oversee our social presence and community.
  8. Budget Management: Allocate and maximize the marketing budget.
  9. Testing: Experiment with new tactics to enhance campaigns.
  10. Customer Engagement: Develop online customer engagement strategies.

Required knowledge, skills and experience

Knowledge:

  1. Digital Marketing Fundamentals: Strong grasp of digital concepts.
  2. Data Analysis: Proficiency in digital analytics tools.
  3. Language: Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken).

Skills:

  1. Digital Advertising: Manage online campaigns effectively.
  2. SEO Optimization: Implement SEO strategies.
  3. CRO: Improve conversion rates with data-driven insights.
  4. Analytics: Generate actionable insights.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work well with cross-functional and international teams.
  6. Content Management: Proficiency in CMS and digital tools.

Experience:

  1. 3-5 Years in Digital Marketing: Hands-on experience in digital roles.
  2. Banking (Optional): Banking industry experience is a plus.
  3. International Collaboration: Experience with international teams is beneficial.
  4. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects.
