In a deposit savings account, you secure your money for a certain period of time at a fixed interest rate. This offers the certainty of a fixed return, even if the European Central Bank’s interest rate falls.
With MeDeposit, we offer you 3.2% annual interest on your savings. The account is in euros.
After three months, you can withdraw the savings, including the interest received, and secure them again if you wish to do so.

Can I withdraw my savings from a MeDeposit account before end of term?
It is possible to withdraw savings from a MeDeposit account before the end of the term. However, no interest will then be paid on this amount after maturity.
Will tax be withheld from my interest?
The interest you receive is tax-free. When you file your annual income tax return, you can declare your savings and interest received. You will receive an annual overview for this at the beginning of next year.
How will my savings and interest be paid out at the end of the term?
After 3 months, we deposit the savings amount you deposited plus the interest into your current account. You can then withdraw your money or choose to fix it for another 3 months.
For amounts above €20,000, you can also choose to have the interest paid monthly.
Can I add money to my MeDeposit account?
No, if you have already deposited money this is fixed for 3 months. However, you can open as many MeDeposit accounts as you like. The money in these accounts is then again fixed for 3 months at the interest rate applicable at the time of opening.
Are there any fees for opening and managing MeDeposit?
No, we do not charge any fees for opening and managing your account.
